What do you want to know about the Detroit Red Wings?
The Detroit Red Wing’s ownership group is expected to make a major decision soon regarding their future, but first they’ll have to decide what direction they want to go.
General Manager Ken Holland announced the move Tuesday, saying they will have an ownership meeting Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
The meeting will discuss the future direction of the team.
It’s unclear if any of the players will attend.
The Detroit News reported the club is looking at options to buy the team outright, including selling the team and potentially buying a team.
The Detroit News said the group will have to vote on whether to sell or buy.
“It’s a really exciting opportunity for the Detroit community,” Holland said Tuesday.
“It’s also a very important step for the organization.
If we’re able to get the right people to come together, we can do something great with the organization that will be great for our city and our players and fans.
Holland said the team’s future is in Detroit, but it’s a difficult decision for the players to make.
Former Red Wings player and current ESPN commentator Adam Rooney told ESPN’s Craig Custance that the ownership group would be more interested in selling the Red Wings.”
“The Red Wings are going to be the Detroit team, they are going on to the next level. “
They are going through this and they’re going to do it with the right leadership. “
The Red Wings are going to be the Detroit team, they are going on to the next level.
They are going through this and they’re going to do it with the right leadership.
If they want that to happen, I think they should be able to make that decision.
I think the right owners, they should decide how they want the franchise to be run and the right way to build the team.”
The move is expected by many to be one of the biggest decisions the Red Wing will have for the next five years.
There are no plans for any new players to be signed until after the 2020-21 season.
